A Steady Progress Update

October ended up packed with non-production tasks, so progress wasn’t as ideal as I’d hoped, but things are moving steadily. Once I’m a bit closer to having a clear release window, I’ll share an update on the new piece. Last time, I put out a teaser aiming to release just a few days later, only to realize I’d underestimated the technical challenges and workload. Because of my personal values, I couldn’t choose to cancel production or switch to releasing a different work, so I intend to apply that lesson this time.

On a personal note, over the past three years I’ve had frequent colds and other illnesses that affected my work, but since my last bout of COVID, I’ve been completely healthy for the past five months. The only change I can point to is strengthening my exercise routine—though it may simply be because it was summer—but I’m finally seeing signs of improvement and feeling a bit relieved.
