Artists and where to find them
Added 2025-07-15 09:00:12 +0000 UTCHey guys!
I keep reading in the Furry Art fandom about scammers who pretend to be a said artist and then take the money out of the customer's pocket and make off.
I thought for years, hey ... no one will be stupid enough to fall for it. My url to Furaffinity, my main site, was on every one of my pictures for years.
And yet I often get the question where to find me.
( Even in the comics it is linked!!! =__=
Sometimes I was so frustrated that it was not worth to put the url in my pictures, because many people are simply not able to read. Or to copy simple urls. (especially if you prefer to do everything comfortably with your cell phone)
Would it still be wise to put my url in the pictures I post publicly on the net, simply so that people who really want to contact me are able to find me?
Can't be that the whole world is only looking for names on telegram. o.O
If you have more to say about this, I would be delighted to hear your view of things.

I don't have strong opinions on this, because the URL never intruded on the artwork, but if it is extra work to include it, I wouldn't bother because I have never had a hard time finding, "Rukifox" while searching e621 or Google. A signature may be just as effective.
