Constellations 08 - Aquarius, The Water Bearer

Socially transgressive, freedom seekers, with their minds on the future and technology! Those are the aquarius traits i wanted to bring on to the design. Mixing up everything i made up a space rogue design, a futuristic outlaw!
As aquarius is also commonly related to intelligence and invention, i wanted to make a head with a big dome! As i experimented, it came to me that a punk styled hairstyle would be the best for him...
I'm very attached to the buzz cut though... Aquarius was one of the first constellations i worked with some years ago... behold a bit of my older art!! honestly i always think i don't improve or improve extremely slowly so i get a bit embarrassed on sharing these.
For the clothes i brought a bit of inspiration of his older design. I wanted to play up the spike and futuristic game a bit more, so he can look menacing and more on the sci-fi side of things. I also wanted to incorporate more jar motifs on the design as we are talking about the water bearer sign, and i ended up sticking to boots even though i kinda liked the direction of the shoulder pads as well.
On the jar itself - i wanted to grab the silhouette of a jar and turn into a bazooka!!! It ended up looking more like a blaster, but i think it's got its own charm.
For his star node i wanted a fun, futuristic design with neon things! I was prompted to make the sign as a neon design but i really want to stick to gemstones on this project...
The inspo for the design was wormholes!
