Ahahah awe thanks so much HypnoKitten :D Really happy to hear that you all have been enjoying the minis! Yeah I 100% agree, in the past I went a little weak with the ankles and strong with the supports. I'm constantly trying to find that balance on being secure enough to print on everyones machines and resin tuning but not being to strong to break, it's been tough haha but i've been keeping it in mind, hopefully the broken ankles with the armored warriors are low, I haven't gotten any with a ton printed "printed an armies worth hah just gotta paint them now" so that's usually a good sign haha but still, thanks again for the feedback and i'll keep trying to improve :)
2021-11-25 05:47:46 +0000 UTCwooooot - gonna go through and update - I'm almost finished printing.... like a LOT of these and wish I'd seen this before. Love the prints so far btw, they're looking great, printing great.. the only issue has been that the supports end up so tight together that it is very easy (especially with phrozen Aqua Grey 4K resin) for little bits to break off when removing supports. Especially the feet - I think I broke off 5 feet so far (and 2 wrists) no matter how careful I've been, 'cause the supports almost blend together into a solid mass that's as-strong as the ankles (and often hidden behind other supports). Just two suggestions - maybe a little less supports on feet and then put the supports spread out a bit higher on the leg to hold as much without bunching up. And second, I've been using the support settings from 3DPrintingPro (youtube) and they work like a charm. A few big ones here and there to hold the weight, a few medium ones toward the middle/top of whatever to keep supporting more and more weight, and a ton of light ones that come away with an almost satisfying bubble-wrap feel, like pulling cobwebs. I used those on your space-pirate-ship (didn't see a supported version) and it supported it and came off absolutely perfectly Anyway, thanks again for all these great and well-printing sculpts! I'm at the point where I dread printing STLs from just about anyone else so you've spoiled me :D
