2022-10-16 21:31:01 +0000 UTCWell, this latest chapter of poor Nina's mishaps is a mixture of suspense and humour and, in my opinion, it is a very successful mix. Bravo! Having said that for me, as long as the casts remain snow-white it's more than OK, it's wonderful to see that it's not only the 'forced cohabitation' with Amber (her 'best friend', isn't it?) that adds discomfort to the already very psychologically prostrate Nina, but also being confined to the ward exposed to the 'assaults' of the slightly dazed 'visitor' on duty and having to share space with many other patients confined to their own beds of pain and struggling with their respective sufferings... Good times when patients could, at least, stay in single rooms: poor Nina is now experiencing first-hand one of the consequences of public health cuts... Given her immediate surroundings, the poor girl would not be able to close her eyes even if she swallowed a whole tube of sleeping pills... And she hasn't even begun to be subjected to the 'attentions' of her friend for life Amber... As Nina will learn, there's always room to get worse....
