12th prototype (Pioneer tier and higher) + 8th Waifu Designer (All patrons)
Added 2024-03-14 00:51:54 +0000 UTCHi! I've published a new version of my prototype, it took me a little longer because this update was a bit more technical, here’s what I changed:
For Waifu Designer + the prototype:
- I've reworked the head animations, especially when Gwendolyn looks "mysterious" or "disappointed", and other animations benefit from a slight rotation effect, especially "mesmerized".
For the prototype:
- I've completely reworked the design save screen, so that you can see the heads of the characters you're loading, which is much more practical.
- I did a lot of code maintenance and optimization, replaced a few UIs to save resources, changed the way the menu was presented at the bottom of the screen so that there were fewer items at the same time.
- I've also fixed a few bugs.
- I've removed some unnecessary content, such as the flappy bot game (doesn't work well on renpy), Gwendolyn's photo (it's no longer consistent with the fact that Gwendolyn doesn't have a fixed appearance) and the 1st event (a sequence of events would be too linear, so I'm going for a more open progression, and I've got a few ideas for 4th wall-breaking content, but I haven't implemented them yet).
