What's the patern

The time I indicate is the minimum you should spend on this exercise, of course I recommend practicing longer and, if necessary, taking several practice sessions to master this fill.

Total practice time: 15 minutes
1. (3 minutes) - Watch the fill from 11 seconds onwards and take in what I'm doing. Once you have done that you divide the fill in two. First take the first 8 notes and practice them until you can memorize them completely. Success? Go to the next step!
2. (3 minutes) - Nice! now play the last 8 note. Make sure that when you play the bass drum you already move your right hand to the snare. This keeps the movement of your hands constant and smooth.
3. (3 minutes) - Now put them together and play the fill continuously one after the other. Make sure you play this very slowly to work on your muscle memory again. Look carefully at what you want to play and your body will follow. If everything goes well and it feels good, you can speed it up a little.
4. (3 minutes) - In this lesson I play quite an exotic groove for the fill, if you want to play a different groove for it, feel free to play what feels good!
5. (3 minutes) - Is this getting too easy? Then improvise with your hands on different toms, making sure that the pattern remains the same. Start creating slowly and when you have come up with one that you can remember, speed it up a bit and play a groove with it. Good luck!
Keep up the great work! Feel free to continue practicing as long as you'd like because the more you practice, the better you'll get!
