The sticking is pretty straightforward, but the key is to stay relaxed while playing. Metal fills help you improve your technical skills, coordination, timing, expression, creativity, and musicality as a drummer.
So, even if you're not a fan of the genre, be open to learning it and expanding your musical horizons.
