started this aaages back right about when the last party arc piece came out, hopefully it's fairly self-explanatory why this animation took a bit to get across the finish line π . if i'd planned out maple playing with carol's dress I would not have made it a shiny reflective gold surface haha. i was briefly considering axing this entirely and conjuring up something markedly simpler, but i'm really glad i got back to it in the past few days.
there's a version where i spend even longer focusing on the resisting/struggle aspect - but frankly that would be underselling maple's abilities and overselling carol's willpower i think. and also i'd love to wrap this up sometime actually in 2025 x_x
but maaaybe there's still a little bit more to do with this?
