Added 2024-11-11 18:20:06 +0000 UTCcame up with this back around when the elden ring dlc came out. im pretty sure this specific idea came about from a combination of messmer's signature phrase (if you know, you know), and context clues which suggest rellana worked in servitude of messmer in the lands of shadow (whenever i hear this in these games 9 times out of 10 i assume romantic subtext lol).
