Must-Have Apps for iOS
Added 2022-01-15 16:03:09 +0000 UTCI figured I’d do a quick write up on some of the important apps I discuss that make your life and health easier, and the reasoning behind them. I’ll make a few other additions that I’ve been getting into recently. I don’t have an Android device, so I can’t help much in that regard but they should be cross-platform as far as I’m aware.
Cronometer: The best app I’ve come across to track not only calories and macronutrients, but also micronutrients. Very simple to navigate and not bad on the eyes.
Dminder: Excellent to determine when the best time to get solar exposure is for vitamin D production, as well as including a calculator for the general idea of how much you’re producing within around 10%. It’s actually quite accurate if you enter in the relevant data properly. Higher and lower latitudes might want to wait until at least spring because it may show 20-50+ days until UVB exposure is available again. 😭
Discord: Join the community on our Discord channel. Awesome discussions every day, between both CK Eternity and I’s communities.
Coinbase, Crypto.com, KuCoin / MetaMask: Start investing in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as soon as you can, it’s never too late to get in. It’s one of the best ways to invest and expand on your income that I’ve come across recently. You’ll need a wallet to transfer to, which MetaMask functions as. Never provide any of your login information or seed phrase to ANYONE. I won’t provide financial advice, beyond buy low and sell high. Do your own research, but some general coins I’ve been looking at are $BTC, $ETH, $AVAX, $SOL, $LUNA, $LINK, $ONE, $ROSE, $OSMO, and $JEWEL.
Gifitize: This one isn’t absolutely necessary, but it’s useful to download gifs and videos off Twitter without using those sketchy in-app accounts and links. One of my online friends made this one.
Etsy: Again, this one isn’t totally necessary, but you can easily find quality herbal medicines in whole herb form better than you can find on Amazon in most cases. Search for organic and/or wild-harvested preferably.
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > turn off True Tone, set Night Shift from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, keep screen brightness as low as you can enough so the screen is still visible.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > set Reduce White Point to 50-70%, turn off Auto-Brightness > Color Filters, set filter to Color Tint, crank Hue up to maximum, and Intensity as high as you can still visibly see the screen and text in general. Grayscale still has a blue light color temperature via the white.
