Side notes on Testosterone Protocol

I just had some additional thoughts to include on this Testosterone Protocol while on my sun walk.

Mindset: There are no studies to support this, but I guarantee you that self-deprecating mindset and thought process bullsh*t is counterproductive to a healthy hormone profile, putting massive stress on your body and mind. Stop that sh*t and begin working on rewriting it TODAY, you don’t have time to waste. You are a strong and powerful man, now ACT LIKE IT.

Male Presence: Ensure you are spending time with other men that you view as powerful or strong, whether that be your father, friends, or some other family member. Being around other men, especially ones who lift and actively take accountability and responsibility of their lives will have a positive influence on your testosterone via the snowball effect.

Caffeine: There are some studies that suggest coffee specifically can positively influence testosterone levels, but if you find yourself in a stressful environment or have circadian dysregulation (both resulting in cortisol/melatonin dysregulation), forego it. This goes for all forms of caffeine and other stimulants.

Phytoestrogens: Unless you are overdosing phytoestrogens (vegan diet/soy protein powder), they are NOT the problem, counterintuitive to what “experts” like the author of Estrogeneration may suggest. They even play a significant role in a healthy hormone profile, unlike the potent xenoestrogens in hygiene/skin products and environmental/agricultural toxins. These people make zero distinction between estrogen receptor-α and estrogen receptor-β. Estrogen receptor ALPHA is responsible for the feminizing effects of estrogen, estrogen receptor BETA is responsible for the positive effects of estrogen, such as bone integrity, neuroprotection, and hypertrophy (in men and women). Phytoestrogens primarily possess BETA dominant activity, even soy has a 1:2 activity ratio. With that said, many phytoestrogens have a positive effect on estrogen metabolism, shifting away from cancer-inducing 16-hydroxy-estrone towards protective 2-hydroxy-estrone and their weak potency actually displaces estrogen from its receptors, comparatively. In small amounts, they can actually decrease estrogen activity and reduce the inflammatory effects of its metabolism.
