Presentation For Warrior Art Camp!
Added 2023-10-16 15:43:53 +0000 UTCHere are all of my slides for the presentation I recently did for my friend Larsson Mcswain's Cover Art Creation class. The class session was broken up into three parts: the first bit where I presented these slides and talked to the class about everything detailed in the itinerary, a Q&A (which was very casual, and I got asked about my lifting PRs which I was not expecting), and a critique of the students' final projects.
I was nervous going into it due to the fact that talking about myself and my career for 30 minutes made me feel a little sick. Doing it here on patreon is different, maybe because I know you want to be here? To some degree at least. Also, it's been years since I was a part of a formal critique. I was afraid I would forget how to do it.
Just as I should have expected, everything went great--the students were so sweet and interactive, they sat so kindly and listened to me choke out my presentation, and with Larsson leading the critique (he is one of the most wonderful people) it was fun and easy to talk about the final projects with each student.
The slides mostly (?) speak for themselves, but let me know if you have any questions! Also, attaching most of the procreate brushes mentioned in the Process Slide for your usage as well!

Back in school we used to critique each other, so it felt exactly the same! It just felt like I was among peers. :'-)
