A very happy halloween eve to all folks in similar timezones...perhaps it is already Halloween where you are! I took today off of work just to draw for pleasure and absolutely am falling behind on work as a result (admittedly I have taken a few half-days off here and there too). But halloween demands to be celebrated, and I wanted to do a fun monster-sona drawing--the one I posted to instagram and twitter today. I've included a couple outtakes from that drawing. Honestly I have so many more ideas that I would have liked to explore, but had to cap it at five Monster Jamies hehe :-)

As I said, I'm falling a little behind because I have chosen to take a little time off here and there. I'm also working on designing some merch for my friends' band which has been a lot of fun so far. They're a cool bunch of folks and just as cool looking, so it will be a blast for me to design and stylize each member.

I'd love to sit down and have a podcast chat since it's been a while, so keep an eye out for that in the coming week.

Are you doing anything for Halloween? I am helping host a party at my friends house in Asheville. I'll be Asuka from Evangelion and my friend Emily is being Shinji! See you in November, friends. Stay safe and don't get too spooked if you can help it.
