🌲 Looking Ahead to December...
Added 2020-11-22 20:19:34 +0000 UTCHello, you. I hope you're having a fine end of the weekend! Since I wanted next month's content to be highly driven by the voice of our little community here, I thought I would update you on what's to come!
Sapling and Harvest patrons said they would like to see a step-by-step on how I stylize characters and organize compositions, so I'll be doing a video demo of that.
But they also said they would like to see how I pick and use colors, so like you might have seen on my social media, I decided to make a short text/image-based presentation on that in December's monthly newsletter! That way, I'm covering all the topics you guys told me you would like to see, just split up in different ways.
Additionally, in my podcast I will be talking about how I developed my art style, and why art styles aren't rigid and in fact very fluid! I will, of course, gab about life and happenings outside of my art as usual in the podcast as well (we must catch up over some cocoa, yeah?)
Finally, in my *✲⋆Secret Sketches*✲⋆ (and partially in my newsletter) I will be talking about how I just finished all the sketches for the Illustrated Anne of Green Gables picture book, and some things that I learned in the process of sketching out my first full freelance book project!
Lots to cover next month, and I cannot wait to share it with you. I'll see you on the first of December! I'll save a spot for you in front of the fireplace.

P.S. I realize I still have yet to release the menu card printable for Harvest patrons--this will be coming in the first week of December for your upcoming holiday meals! Thanks for your patience.
