Tale #31: Scout's Dishonor (Part 3)

Tale #31: Scout's Dishonor (Part 3) Content Tags: (Messy diapers, brainwashing, infantilization, ongoing story, supernatural elements) Liam's mother had led him into the building where the first scout meeting of the season was to take place. Inside was the excited chattering of other little boys who had been waiting all year for the group to start back up again. Liam wished he could feel as excited as his fellow scouts, but the bulk underneath his shorts killed any sense of joy at being here. His mother knelt down and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Have fun, sweetie, and remember to go use the potty. I talked with your scoutmaster already, but I don't think you want to have to get a change while playing with your friends." Liam nodded, his bright blond bangs bobbing up and down. "Yes mommy..." She gave him a little encouraging pat on his crinkly tush and stood back up, "I'll be back in a little while to pick you up, okay?" Liam watched her leave and frowned. He looked down at his teddy bear, wondering how long it would be until the plush tried to further ruin his life. At the very least, he could try to mitigate some of his embarrassment; he took his bag off his shoulder, the same which housed his changing supplies, and he strapped Teddy to the front of it. It was still embarrassing, but it was a genuine improvement over plainly carrying and clutching the toy like an anxious toddler. He slung the bag back over his shoulder and took a deep breath as he walked further into his inevitable shame. Familiar faces met him once he approached the giggling circle of grade schoolers; boys he'd met last season and had fun with, even if he'd been something of a high maintenance brat himself. The youngest of the group looked to have been in Kindergarten, while the oldest, might have been as old as nine or ten and nearing graduation from the cub group. There were new faces too, of boys who must have just joined the group. One caught his eye, and not just because of his snow-white hair, but because of the pink plush rabbit he held close to his chest. Liam could at least feel positive that he wasn't the only kid bringing his stuffy to scouts. "..Oh, hey, Liam I din't know you did scouts..." Liam cocked his head back and blinked, the one kid he recognized from school in the group, was the very one that he'd been inadvertently responsible for sabotaging. It was Fritz! And like Liam, he had his raggedy blue bear tied to his backpack. The blond felt a tinge of guilt, but he summoned a welcoming smile. "H-hey Fritz! Yeah, I've done it since Kindergarten. Is this your first year? I didn't see you last time." Fritz shrugged bashfully, giving the dorky uniform he had on a once-over. "Uhh. Yeah, first time...I guess I just thought it might be fun, or something." He seemed unsure himself of why he'd decided to join a group he'd once mocked, but the bear on his bag told Liam all he needed to know. The meeting of the pair was awkward and stilted for both boys. Fritz had been avoiding Liam at school since their sleepover, since he didn't want his own reputation to suffer, and also because he got a hinky vibe from the blond. In that time, Liam in his induced infantile state, had oppositely been trying desperately to talk to his 'parnter in crime'. Today was different though, at least from what Fritz could see. Liam wasn't acting like a giant toddler, and if anything, didn't look all that jazzed to see him here at the scout meeting. It was like Liam had returned to the state he'd been in months and months ago, before he'd ever begged to buy the wretched bear. "Well, its pretty fun, most of the time...and everyone is super nice...Most of the time." Liam kept finding himself peering down at the other boy's shorts, trying to spot whether or not they were puffed out with the bulk of the diapers that Liam had graciously lended. It was a little difficult to tell, but he was pretty sure that Fritz was padded up, which at least made him feel better about his own predicament. "And, um, I guess we both brought our teddy bears, huh?" Liam added, gaging the boy's response to see if he knew what was controlling him. He didn't want to outright say anything, in case there were consequences for either of them for such an exchange of information. "Y-yeah, pretty dumb, I guess. I didn't really think about it, just kinda happened...At least we aren't the only ones; you see that pale kid with the bunny?" Liam let himself laugh a little at the absurdity of it all, while his bear had been trying to make the pair 'friends' in malice, their shared fate had instead given them the opportunity to come together for real in sweet commiseration. "Y-yup! I mean, its *cub* scouts, so at least we brought bears instead of sissy bunnies." Fritz and Liam burst into a fit of giggles, just in time for the scoutmaster to call for everyone to quiet down, so that he could get the first meeting of the season underway. There were a lot of new faces who would need to know what scouts was all about, and old faces that needed a refresher course on the rules. Feeling bound together, for internally conceived different reasons with each boy, they found themselves sitting together with a weak, yet optimistic pair of smiles. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all! Maybe his teddy would behave and let him have this one thing without feeling the need to ruin it! The immediate future was looking bright! ...Right until his bear decided to speak for the first time since he'd been getting dressed in his room. "...Time to make poopies in your diaper, baby bear." Liam's eyes widened, his blood ran cold, but his bowels followed the plushy's direction without any conscious input from the puffy-bottomed kid himself. The scoutmaster was going over all the minutiae, but Liam wasn't hearing any of it; all he could focus on was the warm sticky load pushing into his pants. The immediate future did *not* look very bright, nor would it smell very good either.
