Daycare Demotion (Picture)

Story #14: Daycare Demotion "Uh-oh! I think I smell an 'oopsie', is that you, diaper-butt?" Colby grimaced at the infantile accusation; why must he suffer so? It was less being raked across the coals and more a matter of being dragged across the daycare floor. He shouldn't even be wearing a diaper! Let alone be the padded plaything of some little brat like Hailey! He folded his arms and cocked his head off to the side. "..S'not me, prolly one of the stupid babies around here." What he said had some merit. The daycare was primarily attended by those of a less pottytrained stripe, so the littering of tots around made the room a veritable minefield of dirty diapers. What had less merit was what had landed him in this diaper in the first place just a few hours prior; it hadn't been undeserved. Him and Hailey were really the only two 'big kids' that came to this place after school. It was a daycare intended for toddlers and preschoolers, but they existed as an exception, where this was seen as 'after-school care'. Hailey was a couple of years younger than him, and a girl, so he had mostly avoided her. He would tell her to take her cooties and beat it, because the alternative was to play dumb girl games like house! Today was different though. Maybe he'd had a bad lunch or something, but the conclusion had been that he'd soiled himself. Hailey had found out, probably because Colby had been pitifully crying over it, and had immediately ratted him out. It wasn't like extra undies had been left for an eight year old, and the options had been slim; a Pull-Up had been mentioned, but he'd have to have gotten permission by the only toddler big enough for it to be a fit. Unsurprisingly, because Colby was a bit smug about being the 'big kid' around here, the toddler had denied him access. He'd even made a comment about how he 'didn't want some big baby to make a big poopie in my big boy pants'. An unnecessary cut, but it had been enough to seal his fate. He'd ruined his pants too, so now all he had was a t-shirt and a bulky diaper. Hailey had been laughing the entire time, talking a mile a minute about how she was the big kid around here now. Could Colby even argue that? The daycare worker had been stern, but mostly understanding that 'accidents happened', though with the caveat that he better keep his new diaper clean until he got picked up. That had seemed easy enough. His tummy clearly wasn't totally okay, but he could keep a lid on it for a few hours, right? Perhaps that had just been pride before the fall. He'd went on to expend so much energy in just keeping Hailey from prodding at his Pampers, that he'd hardly kept cognizant over his looming gut problem. He'd just been trying to watch an animated movie on the little TV in there. He'd already seen it before, but it was better than anything else that the daycare had to offer. Hailey had only been pretending to watch, much more fixated on the diaper boy beside her. All that Colby had done was try to let out a little gas, and that had been all it took. One toot had led to the finishing of his prior evacuation. It was a warm, sticky mass that immediately spread across his rump and almost instantly had an odor. All Colby could think to do was to stay firmly planted on the ground, up until Hailey began to sniff around and ask questions. "Nuh-uh! It smells like poo-poo, right here!" She gestured at the ground between them. Colby puffed out his cheeks, "Hmph, maybe it's you then, dummy." Hailey didn't take that well. With a violent shove, she knocked Colby from his seated position and as he was trying to get back up, she grabbed a hold of the back of his diaper. "E-ewww! You really did go poop, again! I'm gonna tell the teacher, and you're gonna be a diaper baby from now on!" With his loaded seat in her grip, she didn't just hold him, but his fate for the near future. Looks like he'd be playing house after all
