Seidel points out the ignorance and intentional historical inacuracy of the right wing I'm forced to live amongst in. The flyover state of Iowa... this interview and the book was uneasily cathartic if I'm being honest...

After this fucking nonsense, it’s no longer safe for me (or any other fertile female) to live there. My children will only see their grandparents on holidays because of this shit and I will never forgive the asshats who forced me to choose safety over family relationships.
