Ask Us Anything

Adding a quick "250th episode" themed Q&A to this week's show; so if you'd like to ask us something about the first 250 episodes or about the impact on our lives the podcast has had, feel free to drop it in the comments.

We'll be doing an expanded version for the patrons...

Comments

Over your 250 episodes, which person do you estimate you’ve talked most frequently about in the headlines?

Amanda

I might be too late to the party, and this question might be a little too serious, but I thought I might try anyway. This is for Eli. For understandable reasons it often feels like you want to be through with the athiest/ skeptical movement/ community. By financially tethering you to it sometimes feels like we are causing you undo harm. Please lie and say this isn't true to sooth my conscience. Thanks!

Spinoza's Godzilla

Are the Noah Lugeons and Heath Enwright names more of a branding thing now, or are they mostly for anonymity?

Bowl of Piss Water

The page I’m on says you make $2700+ per episode. At 52 episodes a year that’s $140,000! Did you expect this business to be that lucrative?

John

For the first hundred episodes or so, Heath closed the headlines with "Jumanji", but lately he has been using other phrases. What prompted this change, and can we expect Jumanji to make a comeback? It's my favourite part of the show.

Dave

Are you going to do Sucide Squad for a Patron GAM?

Sarah Fullerton

What ever happened to the damned buckets?

Everett Abbott

How many times did you have to explain to Eli that Black Friday did NOT mean Blackface Friday?

Sakashite Fukasumi

How many negative e-mails/Direct Messages/Tweets/calls/etc. do you get in an average month? Any that you've had to forward to authorities/tap Andrew on for legal advice? Outside of some of the MythCon blowback, it seems like responses to the podcast itself is wonderfully positive, which seems refreshing and surprising for a podcast taking on religion/superstition.

Baron Atomy

I see a lot of New Style Pizza advertised throughout the country. I had two different restaurants up in PA and they couldn't have been more different in flavor. So, as experts, please tell those of us that have never enjoyed the delicacy what characteristics real New York style pizza would have.
