SDK2 Migrator and CyanTrigger V0.3.3

SDK2 to Udon Migrator

Do you have old SDK2 projects you wish were Udon? With my new migration system, it is now much easier to convert projects to Udon and CyanTrigger! Starting today, $10 supporters and above can download the alpha version of the migrator. This migrator system is still early in development. While the system cannot migrate everything in a project yet, the plan is to continue to add to what can be migrated over time. This system will eventually be released for free. If you would like to see what currently can and cannot be migrated, check out the migration wiki page.

CyanTrigger V0.3.3

Along with the migrator, I am also releasing a bug fix patch to CyanTrigger. This update is available to everyone and can be downloaded on booth. If you get compile errors on updating CyanTrigger in 2019, be sure to also update your VRChat SDK to the latest version as well!

SyncMethod Changes

In the previous version of CyanTrigger, the variable box always displayed a section about the sync method. This generally wasn’t needed and caused more confusion than needed. With the new version, if the CyanTrigger does not sync variables at all, this option will be hidden completely!

Fixed lag on viewing Assets

In Unity 2019, a change was introduced in how assets were viewed in the inspector. This change caused an issue with CyanTrigger, resulting in the editor lagging and the mouse constantly showing the loading spinner. This bug has been fixed and you should no longer have issue viewing assets!

String.Get newLine

When formatting strings in CyanTrigger, it was not possible to add multiple lines directly. There were workarounds, but they were tedious to setup. Now with the String.Get newLine action, you can more easily add multiline strings for your world.
