The value of things goes up but the value of people does not. That's why wages will never rise as high as inflation.

To better answer your question (though I’m admittedly unqualified to do so) that will take decades of improved foreign relations -no more stupid wars that only make complex problems worse, no more being too friendly with apartheid nations, and we need to consistently elect Presidents that the rest of the industrialized world can respect. It will take a long time for the USA to regain the credibility it had on the world stage before the damage done by both 43 and 45. Even longer to heal the wounds caused by 40 -something that won’t likely happen in our lifetimes.

Government debt isn't important :) And they aren't gonna help people out willingly. We need to get money out of politics first of all.. but until then, unionizing workplaces helps.. a general strike would be nice.

When most of us look at our phones, we just appear to be narcissists who cannot live in the moment. When JB looks at his phone, he looks like a scholarly sage contemplating matters of great importance while shouldering the weight of the world. Is he reading an analysis of Elizabethan playwrights to judge disputes of Shakespeare’s authorship? Is he comparing data on various types of solar panel technologies to determine which is the most efficient, but also has cells with long term usage? Or is he just watching a gif of Leslie Easterbrook emerging from the pool in a see-through tank top from Police Academy 4?

William Hall now the question for a million dollars is how do we correct the problem while encouraging more US bonds be purchased on the world market and sub markets so that our government debt goes down while our wages manage to recover with the cost of goods and services.

True. According to various economists, had minimum wage kept up with the rest of inflation, it would be about $25 today. In post WW2 USA, just having a full time job (didn’t have to be a great one) you could afford a house, car, 2 kids, and a spouse who didn’t work. During the Eisenhower era, tax rates were much higher for the rich and corporations. The ratio of $ paid to a CEO and a company’s lowest paid worker was a lot less than it is today. So many people I know who live in major cities and have good jobs (high 5 to low 6 figures) cannot afford a house within an hour’s drive of where they work.

Inflation is getting worse everyday. So bad that what would be the point of a $500 bill🤷‍♂️ Besides I don’t think everyone had a debit card and Apple Pay or Google pay or even Bitcoin in the 1960’s 😂 But hey I could be wrong 🤷‍♂️

Ya know I've often thought about the fact that through out history in America our costs of goods and services have increased. How ever our wages have increased at a slower rate. Like $25.00 was a lot of money during the 1950s but gas was like 25 to 30 cents a gallon and a loaf of bread was 5 cents

They're driving toward a cashless society. They =should= make $500 and $1,000 bills. That's like...$20 from the '70s.
