Buckshot and Slug Shells exploding outside a gun - Are they deadly?

What happens when a shotgun shell accidently goes off outside a gun?  How dangerous is it?   This is some older footage from a video made 5 years ago that most people never got to see.   I decided to reediting and added a lot of commentary of what was going on.

Great to see Danny again. Keep up the good work.

You must have missed the part about the plane in the video being a REPLICA - and it's a smaller scale one at that. Big block Chevy powered.

Wasn't the P-51 powered by a V-12? I see 6 exhaust ports on the left side.

They say the most dangerous thing about a centerfire round going off loose outside the chamber is the primer flying out like a mini bullet. My cousin learned that one time when he filled an empty shell with powder and put a fuse in it and it went off before it got out of his hand. The primer went so deep he had to have surgery to get it out. Boy I miss Danny. He was real asset to the channel. Some fine camera work on that fast moving target. By the way for the doubters that Foster slug was not only tumbling but had some rotation too 😁.

It's been a while, glad you didn't wash away
