12 ga. slug that expands to 30mm before it hits the target?

These are 1oz expanding slugs but in our tests, the petals expanded out to about 30mm from centrifugal force as it left the barrel. Of course is not how they are supposed to work of course, but it was fascinating to see.

like the wet towel, does the incomprehensibility of the water make pentatration Harder? might make a nice video to compare wet vs dry with shot,slug etc

2019-11-12 05:54:31 +0000 UTCI think I prefer the dry sand with an open top (i.e. in a pot or cut open jug) is more interesting as a medium than wet sand. Very visually appealing too. The wet towel is interesting, so long as you can standardize it. I'd like to see it folded and held closed with clamps or something too.
