Thank you so much for loving my work and visiting my Patreon!
Also thanks for your patience reading this post.
Aha, ACHINO is my TS4 cc brand name and you can call me Samy. You can call me ACHINO as well, or whatever you like ^ ^
No actually.
I mean, although most of my work so far belongs to the furniture category, I just want to create something a lil bit special or new.
I guess furniture cc creators are all very good at modeling and realistic texture, but I'm not.
By the way, the ideas, mesh, texture, posters and other stuff all by me.
If I use work of other creators (font creators and so on), their work must be 100% free for commercial use or authorized by themselves and I'm very grateful for their generous share. I will note this in T.O.U. of my cc files.
If so, if you find their work comes up earlier than mine (in any platform), welcome to tell me and I'll delete my work.
I don't see any point in making similar stuff to other's work. So I'm always trying to make something unique. If I create something which theme is similar to others, I will try to add something new, I mean new enough to let people realize they are far from each other.
I don't copy other's work or ideas, and hope people don't copy mine as well.
Theoretically, YES!
Most of my posters are screenshots in game, with text added on it, no other edit, no blender or reshade stuff.
Specifically speaking:
For cc which focus on affecting the color in game (such as lighting set), I will surely use screenshot straight from TS4.
For cc which show colors and pattern in game (such as makeup, clothing, decor), I will use screenshot as well, that's my habit (except for my very former work).
For buildings, as their color affected by TS4 lighting which I may not like, I will change the color a lil bit.
But it may take some time to get used to some of my work (such as STP lighting).
So the effect you get finally depends on your proficiency (tutorials are posted here).
So a tier means the price of ONE collectiion here.
For example, if $5 tier is named as 'STP Standard / LMC collection', that means the price of LMC collection is $5, and the price of STP collection (Standard Edition) is $5 as well.
So if someone want 2 collections of $5, then need to pledge $10 in total.
Kindly remind that if patrons increase their amount, they will be charged for only the difference on Patreon.
So if someone want a collection of $3, and a collection of $5, then need to pledge $8 in total, instead of pledging one tier then switch to another (this will be charged $5 in total).
After pledging the tier, please tell me which collection do you choose.
Then I will send the whole content of this collection to your e-mail.
And don't forget to cancel it in time, otherwise you may be charged for next month.
If patrons don't tell me their choice and new month arrives, I will wait for them (unless I can't find any record of their payment on Patreon), or give refund by the end of the month.
Welcome to search tags like 'LMC' or 'STP' to view what is included in these collections now.
If 'Exclusve' is written in a post, that means this content is exclusive and you can get it by subscribing the related collection (can be found in its tags).
Also, there may be a few EarlyAccess or Free stuff in a series. If you only want this, no need to subscribe the series. You can search 'Early Access' or 'Free' tags to view them.
Plus, a few stuff doesn't belong to any collection, usually it's a gift, is released or will be released in festival or when I want to post something but have no new cc.
I heard that some cc creators choose to send cc files to patrons' email, so as to let every patron get a different copy of file, which helps creators to track the reuploaders. Then they collect and share user personal information, which may bring harm to the users. I guarantee that I didn't and won't collect or share anyone's personal information (email address, name and so on). No virus, I don't even know how to do it.
But please pay attention that, I did and will make different copies of same cc to my patrons sometimes. I guess all of my former patrons have already known this fact, that their username was written in both email and the cc zip name. I read everyone's message and reply them one by one, then they get their individual copies of my cc. Actually I enjoy every communication with you, I don't want batch sending which is quicker but shows less care to my patrons.
The reason why I choose to send files to patrons' email, is that I can't find a way to let patrons get exactly what they purchase if they pay for different series of same price. Sending email is the best way I found so far, and I receive no complain about this from my patrons so far. I am very grateful for their love and trust. And I will never break this trust. If you are still worry about this, I can understand and it's OK not to trust me hahaha. It's up to you ^ ^ And I suggest not to use real name or other real-life info in your account, so as to better protect ourselves.
I'm soooo busy and I'm afraid I have nearly no time to update them.
I will set a new collection, but I will not release it until the cc amount reach the price.
For example, if I create several new STP cc after the STP collection is published, I may set an 'STP Ⅱ' collection, or a Deluxe edition, or stuff like that.
So it's unnecessary to wait for more content to subscribe it, because what is shown in a collection in the future is basically the same as what right now.
Yes sure! Please let me know and I'll give refund according to your payment history. Most of the time I may be quite busy. So I usually send message to remind my patrons to cancel the subscription in time by the end of the month, and give refund by the end of next month if they forget it. But sometimes I may forget as well, so it is strongly recommended to cancel the subscription right after you receive the cc unless you want more.
Sure. I know. And it's very generous of them to share their amazing work for free.
But I think my situation is different.
Honestly I DON'T DO THIS FOR MONEY. No sugarcoat, that's the truth.
I know the way I set my tier seems like this, but no, and the truth is on the contrary.
I have my own job in real life and don't need other ways to make money.
I'm soooo busy with my real life job and don't have enough time to create cc actually.
All what you can see here, is what I finally create after sleeping for only 4-5h per day, for 3-4 months or even longer on average.
Yeah, to me, it may take several months to go thru the whole design-create-test-modify process because I AM REALLY VERY BUSY.
And reality keeps warning me. I got myself sitting in hospital waiting for MRI after struggling to do a new series for just several weeks. And all due to lack of rest and using computer for too long.
If I really need money, I would have given up TS4 cc already because the benefit it brings to me for 2 years cannot even afford my 1 medical expense after I stayed up late for several months for my cc.
I didn't give up so far because I've played Sims4 for so many years and I love creating things.
But I have to make a choice, and figure out what I'm really persuing.
I want to explore new things, or at least bring something a lil bit special to Sims4 and you guys. I'd rather spend more time to create one special work, otherwise it would be MEANINGLESS for my time and effort.
And next step, how can I know if it is really special?
Most of the people show their gratitude after getting a free cc.
That's really nice of both creators and users. But I can't get real opinion then.
So I choose to evaluate my cc by setting them as exclusive content.
If someone is willing to pay for it, and no regret after using it, and is willing to trust my quality next time, that means it is really good and attractive, at least a lil bit special from others.
And I wish I can meet followers or patrons who really love me work, see design or ideas or other value in my work. Not those who are waiting for free cc no matter what quality, no matter whether it is 100% original design or not.
Again, I choose this just because of lack of time.
Many creators can balance quality and quantity very well, and are very generous to share their awesome work for free. I know.
And if you don't agree with my way to set tier, please just ignore me and my work.
It's up to you to choose whether to subscribe me or not.
Yeah I want more followers indeed, so as to let my work show up on more people's pages, and let more people judge my work's quality and attractiveness.
I published my work domestically for a year and a half. And I set my overseas account now just because I'm curious about more people's reactions and opinions towards STP lighting.
Did other creators do similar work before? How is their effect? I don't want to judge my work only by viewing comments in my country, I want a wilder view.
And as I mentioned above, I think it's more important to have followers who see value in my work, rather than a bunch of followers who are waiting for free share.
As for making money, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO REALLY MAKE MONEY BY TS4 CC like other creators due to my real life job and full schedule.
And of course I love my job too, and will not give it up for TS4.
Thanks for your understanding!
And hope my work brings you fun!
