Moulinette Cloud - Cached content
Added 2025-10-13 16:10:14 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
The past few months have been quite busy for me, both personally and professionally, which unfortunately slowed down the development of the modules more than I would have liked. Things are now getting back on track, and I’m happy to announce that several updates and improvements are on the way.
Thank you all for your continued support and patience!!

Redesigned and optimized Moulinette Cloud integration
Version 1.9 introduces a new approach to how the module searches for and accesses content you have access to. Instead of performing a server-side search each time, the module now downloads all references into a local cache, allowing subsequent actions to run much faster and directly from your device. Memory usage has slightly increased (depending on the number of creators you support), but the overall user experience should feel noticeably smoother.
Moulinette Cloud collections are now divided into three categories:
Cloud (Discover): Browse content from available creators you don’t currently support.
Cloud (Supported Creators / All): Access content from the creators you actively support or who provide free content to all Moulinette members.
Cloud (Private): Browse your own personal content hosted on Moulinette Cloud.

V13 Improvements
Some of you have reported bugs and mentioned features that were available in previous versions but are currently missing from Moulinette Media Search (V13+).
You can now click and drag a map directly onto the created canvas, which automatically sets the map’s background image on the scene.
Search is executed as you type
Search button (in addition to pressing ENTER)
Enhanced visual indicator for content loading
In the coming weeks, the focus will be on addressing as many issues as possible reported on Discord or through GitHub.

Do you use the new modules (Moulinette Media Search & Soundboard SoundPads (by Moulinette)) ? Older modules don't work with FoundryVTT v10+

2026-02-28 16:03:32 +0000 UTCMoulinette modules are completely defunct on The Forge. I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling, but it crashes the game when loaded.
