August release

This release focuses on providing features for power users (GMs who want to speed up the setup of a new scene) and APIs for modules' developers who want to integrate Moulinette file picker for asset browsing.

Technical documentation is available on Moulinette GitHub. The sections below highlight the new features.

Macro to open Moulinette in a specific state (search, filters)

Moulinette is user-friendly for browsing and searching the assets for your games. However, every time you open it, you need to select the pack/creator and enter search terms. In this release (moulinette-core 4.9.0), you can easily create a macro that will open Moulinette in a specific state. This is very useful if you frequently search the same assets.

The above screenshot illustrates how to create a macro to open Moulinette and automatically search for "chair" in a very specific pack (Artificial Assets from Tom Cartos).

Macros for Journal Articles

The above feature requires a new macro for each search/filter. If you have a lot of such presets, you might want to arrange them in a journal article. Moulinette provides a code snippet that you can use in your journal articles. By clicking on the generated link, Moulinette will render in the desired state.

Moulinette Filepicker for your modules (for developers)

If you're developing and maintaining a module for FoundryVTT which requires a user to pick an image (ex: a spell effect or an avatar), you might be interested in this new feature. Moulinette offers an API to integrate Moulinette Filepicker in your module.

For example, if you have a partnership with a creator, you can then let a user browse specific assets (from a creator/pack) from Moulinette and retrieve the selected path.

Check technical documentation for more details.

Better compatibility with Levels (module)

The latest release of Moulinette Tiles (4.9.1) provides a better compatibility with the amazing module Levels. New tiles are now placed at the highest most point  and at the right level, to avoid having to place the tile off the map and bringing it to front manually. Thanks AndyTheBrave for reporting this!

Best regards
