Can't launch Sims 4 right now? It's not your mods!!
Added 2023-08-21 13:15:30 +0000 UTCThis morning there is a problem with the EA App that's preventing Sims 4 from launching.
UPDATE: This is now the thread for this issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports-Technical-Issues/Cannot-download-The-Sims-4/td-p/12866104/page/20. EA knows about the problem and is working on it
UPDATE 2: Your best option right now is to not click Update. There's a workaround at the top of that thread if you want to try it, more complex than this post earlier included. Check in later to find out if the problem is solved.
Promise I won't reupdate till it's solved!
UPDATE 3: EA reports that the bug is fixed. Close the EA App and restart it. EA is wrong. Doesn't work for me.
