Thought I'd pass on this useful support note from catacanyounot? on the Deaderpool server:

Are you getting this error message when you try to open your game? "Unable to start: Initialization error at start up."

And about that patch coming in ten days...

If you haven't watched the livestream for the patch and pack, you might want to set aside a couple of hours. If not, you can check my notes on it starting here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/18235555/#Comment_18235555. It will break All the Things.

Okay, not all of them, technically, but at the very least all the usual CAS UI mods, the Simology panel UI mods, the Sim pie menu reorganization mods and mods that add something on them, the custom traits, the CC doors and gates, the CC bassinets and baby outfits...

At least it will make your high chair behaviour mods obsolete, though! Still, back up your saves! And maybe plan on playing mod-free for a bit.
