What's upcoming and what isn't
Added 2023-02-26 13:42:47 +0000 UTCI wanted to let Patrons and Patreon followers know that the current SimGuru/Maxis Info thread, for the upcoming EP, is the last one of those that I'll be doing.
When I started doing the Info threads, nobody else was gathering info into one place. SimGurus weren't posting only on Twitter but also all over the official Forums, sometimes when you weren't expecting it. And a lot more tidbits of info came out from them directly.
Now, though, the marketing for packs is a lot tighter so there's much less advance info outside of livestreams and blog posts and trailers. SimGurus (for good reasons I won't get into here) stopped posting in Forums discussions. Other people (especially simgirl1010) post the things they do still say on Twitter into pack-discussion threads on the Forums. And there are Sims blogs that sometimes gather bursts of tweets into one place.
Because doing the Broken/Updated Mods/CC threads hasn't gotten exactly smaller and because my Forums threads for that are the only non-18+ ones, and because they already take up a lot of time after packs release, I've decided that it's time to just enjoy the time leading up to packs.
If anyone out there would like to take over doing the Forums thread leading up to new major packs, I'm happy to step them through how I do them. Unfortunately, because of how the Forums work, only one person can edit the OP info posts. If that person might be you, please feel free to message me on the Forums.
