Coming in December…

Ive been really quiet this past month, sorry. Things have been pretty crazy in my life but I’ve been doing my best to not let that ruin my work ethic. December is gonna get crazy though…

The Elephant in the Room…

YUP. Im getting married!! In a bit over a week’s time! If you’ll allow me to get real for a second, i’d like to talk about this. Its rather serious and somewhat bittersweet. If the recent news has been too much for you I understand, and please skip this section. 🫶

This election was. Very bad for me and Alex. A lot of executive orders are going through on day one which will make life very dangerous for us, on account of our queerness. The plan Trump’s laid out also has the banning of gay marriage in its goals. Gay folk have only been legally allowed to marry in this country for about a decade. That’s it. Its something ive always wanted and dreamed of….and it may be taken away from me. It probably will. Alex and I want to be able to do this, even if the law will revoke it later. We’re not ready to move in with eachother or take the steps to truly become wives, but we still want this. We’re getting married in one of the most left wing states we can get to, and then heading home. Having our marriage legally in a super blue state will make it more likely to be upheld at the state level even if bans go into effect nationally. We just got engaged…we dont want to have our chance at marriage taken away from us. Look out for your queer friends, especially trans women in these coming years. We won’t survive without people to help us. (And on that note, thank you to all my patrons. I couldnt do this without you.)

The wedding proper will come later, but after this, we’ll be legally married. The situation is far from the best but i couldnt be happier to be Alex’s wife. I get to marry the most amazing person on the whole planet and that brings me so much joy. 🥹 Its so funny to think we met when he joined my patreon. Lol maybe dating your fans DOES work out sometimes lmao

Cool, but how’s that affect us?

Ill functionally be gone for most of december, between christmas stuff and getting married. I’ll be doing my best to assure this isn’t to yall’s detriment however. Patreon work will proceed as normal, but it may be a bit quiet in between posts. I’ll be totally afk for the first 2 weeks though so the pinup will be a bit late. I may also do some celebratory art while im gone. Hehe

This has been a rough month for a lot of us. Decided to try and make december a lil better. Surprise! I’ll be drawing all 4 doki gals. Thats why there was no poll! LOL
