Save File Compatibility

I wanted to drop a quick note to everyone about save file compatibility. In case you weren't aware, save files from previous versions of Sanctuary in Time will continue working under the latest builds. And while I can't guarantee that every build I release in the future will share this kind of compatibility, it is one of my design goals to try making that happen. So, you can upgrade to the latest version without fear of losing your settlement progress or the followers you've gathered.
I've included instructions below on how to bring your save files over from a previous version to a new version of Sanctuary in Time.

Transferring Save / Settings Files:
Save files from previous versions of the game should be compatible w/ the new version. Here's how to bring them over:
1. Open the folder containing the previous version of Sanctuary in Time. It should be titled Sanctuary_in_Time_previous_version_number.
2. Find the SAVES folder located inside. Copy the entire folder and its contents by selecting the folder and then right-clicking on it and choosing ‘Copy’.
3. Open the (uncompressed) folder containing the new version of Sanctuary in Time. It should be titled Sanctuary_in_Time_new_version_number.
4. Right-click inside this folder and choose ‘Paste.’ If no SAVES folder is present for the new version of the game (because no save files have yet been created), the copied folder will install automatically. But if a SAVES folder is present, you may need to confirm to allow the old folder to overwrite the new folder.
5. Your old save files should now be available to load! Just click the Load Game option when you launch the new version of Sanctuary in Time.
6. ADDENDUM: You can do the same with the SETTINGS folder, if you desire. This is where your selections for Narrative Text Size & App Window Size are stored.
