If I am understanding the theory behind aura shielding correctly then shouldn't pure quintessence, which automatically adopts the property of any essence that it interacts with, make for a perfectly adaptable aura shield as it would use the like to like repulsion property to perfectly reflect attacks without any conscious direction from Dale? Dale should stop trying to master all of these individual essences types and just focus on what makes him unique. Pure quintessence. If he truly masters pure quintessence then he could use that to do any elemental technique by default, kind of like what he did when using the earth technique on the bathwater.
