Hm, I'm a bit confused by the "revelation" our protagonist had this chapter. As far as I can remember he repeatedly stated in earlier chapters (including those from book 1) that most Rituals are of utilitarian nature and only some may have use for battle. I therefore find it contradictory that he'd suddenly view his rituals in a different light. Maybe I've misunderstood something, just wanted to point out that it strikes me as odd. :) PS: Found some typos: - "Alexis and Bard rounded the corner, having [decided] that they wanted to see [...]" - "If 24 hours [elapse] without [an] influx of at least 500 points of mana [...]"
