My “Skeptics” video & a vague announcement

As I said in this video, this was my first ever *writing* collaboration with Hemant Mehta, and I think it turned out great! Thank you guys so much for your support this month. I really do mean it when I say I can’t do this without you.

As per my previous post here, I’m running lower on sleep right now than I have in a very long time. The fruit of that, though, is that I have more big upcoming projects right now than at any time in the history of this channel. Some of them have never been done in this YouTube genre before and the intention with them is to scale secular activism and content creation to a new level, even and especially outside of my own channel. As soon as I’m rested and I am able to tell you more, I absolutely will. Much love to every one of you, and *praise be unto River, the new official Lord and Savior of this channel!* ❤️

I've noticed this issue in a few spaces as well. A lot of left-leaning people get so polarized that pointing out criticisms within your own "in group" is seen as being a traitor, when in reality it's an attempt to hold the most justifiable view you can. I don't envy your situation, but I can empathize with it.

Hey Drew, had a niche comment Id like to meekly add to the mix. I'm a primary care physician that works in a prison in a blue state. It's a really fascinating job and I could talk a long time about it, but something I always keep to is treating all my patients fairly. The rubber hits the road on this topic when it comes for comfort items, like requesting a softer bed or better shoes, or wanting expensive skin lotions. Basically elective stuff. Lately the transgender prisoners have been allowed to have hair removal procedures, hair transplants and elective procedures along those lines. Notably even cis women in the women's prison don't get hair transplant procedures. It seems deeply unfair to me, but I'm honestly a bit afraid to speak out due to being perceived as transphobic. I have a hard time dealing with this grey area. I'm progressive myself, but I think issues like this are clearly unfair and give the right more ammunition.
