I waited 22 hours to testify against the Ten Commandments in public schools
Added 2025-05-01 02:08:28 +0000 UTCSo… absolutely ridiculous story incoming about my experience helping to gather a group of people to testify against Texas Senate Bill 10 in the House Public Education Committee. The sponsors of the bill, lead by republicans, stalled our testimonies from 7:30am Tuesday until 5:30am Wednesday. We were there the ENTIRE time in between. We can’t and shouldn’t take the wall between church and state for granted, it has been built through valiant efforts from people such as yourself. The attempts to undermine it are sometimes subtle but always persistent. This reminds me of the documentary “god is not on trail here”.
