Commentary on Ayaan Hirsi Ali becoming Christian

Thank you all for the support this month as things have been difficult for Taylor and I. I’m not sure yet when I’ll be back, but I’m hopeful that it’ll be within a month. (1/2 for December)

Commentary on Ayaan Hirsi Ali becoming Christian

Comments

If "atheism" is associated with "progressive", it makes sense that Ayaan doesn't want to remain an atheist.

I enjoyed this video. I remembered your video about Jordan Peterson sending his flock to the church, no matter whether they actually believe or not. Is the church (in the US) currently the biggest funder of conservative ideology? Are those churches in the US really still about religion, or are they about grooming conservatives? That would explain their enthousiasm for sinner Donald Trump. In The Netherlands, we have all kind of churches. Most are politically centrist and about religion. The conservative ones seem to be growing, though. As well as conservatism in general. Occasionally (?) this is shown to be partially funded by US conservative churches. Modern missionaries just bring a lot of money. Overhere, conservatives (not only conservative Christians) also fight things like "wokism" (which just seems to mean "anything progressive": not only emancipation, but also climate issues), "LGBT-propaganda" (did that word come from Russia?) and "gender ideology". On these issues, some conservative anti-immigration parties have discovered that they share lots of ideas with conservative Islam. This also indicates that it seems to be more about conservative than religious ideology.
