Thank you! I couldn't agree more. Most people are more moral than the God of the Old Testament. If they could see that, we'd all benefit. I've worked with homeless LGBT youth and that really motivates me to promote awareness on this kind of thing.

Being bisexual in a fundamentalist sect was kinda weird looking back on it, but I was able to warp the Bible some to become okay with what the Bible said, but that meant I hated myself. Which was really terrible, caused me loads of issues in life. All of which is now gone since I gave up faith.
Thanks for the accuracy, honesty, and attempting to keep people honest about their religion. It seems very similar to the slavery and Exodus 21 issue. People wince and kinda do a tap dance to get out of recognizing that God thinks slavery is okay, even though they really disagree with God on it.
As Matt Dilahunty likes to say "I think you're more moral than your God, I hope one day you see that too"
