COMMISSION: Minas Unexpected Growth Spurt

Mina Draco was excited to visit her mother, Vanilla Dingodoll, at Greenfield Farm. After months of college life and hero work, she longed for a peaceful time with her mother. Arriving at the farm at night, she surprised her mother with a warm hug. They spent hours talking—Mina sharing tales of college, hero training, and her part-time janitor job at the dojo, while Vanilla spoke about her life managing the farm and handling her investigative work. They enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner before retiring for the night.

The next morning, Mina woke up feeling full of energy. She stretched, took a refreshing shower, and wrapped herself in a towel before brushing her teeth. As she finished, she looked around for a hair dryer but couldn’t find hers.

"Hmm… maybe Mom has one in her room," she thought.

Carefully, she opened the door and peeked inside. "Mom?" she whispered.

To her surprise, her mother was still deeply asleep, cuddled up naked with Ulrich Frost, her boyfriend. Mina’s face flushed bright red.

"Looks like Mom had a date with him after I went to bed," she thought, quickly deciding to sneak in without waking them. She tiptoed inside, spotted the hair dryer on the dresser, and grabbed it.

"What a unique design...” Mina thought as she examined the sleek, futuristic-looking device. Shrugging, she sneaked back to her bathroom and used it to dry her long, thick fur. The dryer worked well, though she felt an odd sensation as the warm air flowed over her body. Dismissing the feeling, she put on her farm clothes—a plaid shirt, denim overalls, and boots—then grabbed a basket and a small bag of seeds before heading out to feed the chickens.

Mina stepped into the chicken coop, cheerfully letting the chickens out and collecting eggs. She hummed a tune as she tossed seeds to the birds, watching them eagerly peck at their meal.

But as she finished her task, something strange happened.

Her clothes felt… tight. Very tight.

"Huh? What the—?" Mina looked down in confusion. Her chest felt restricted, her overalls straining against her body. Then, she realized—she was growing.

Her height shot up, her limbs stretching longer, her muscles subtly expanding. The buttons on her overalls popped off one by one, and the fabric began to rip apart.

"W-Whoa! What’s happening?!" Mina gasped, clutching her arms over her chest as her clothes tore away completely. She stumbled backward, her feet expanding until they crushed part of the wooden fence around the coop. The chickens squawked and scattered in terror.

Mina’s body continued to grow at an alarming rate. She stretched taller than the trees, then the farmhouse, until she towered over the entire property at nearly forty feet tall. She gulped, looking down at the world from her new perspective.

"Oh my… This is not what I expected today," she murmured, covering her exposed body with her arms. "How did I get so big?"

Then it hit her. "The hair dryer! It wasn’t normal at all!"

Needing answers, Mina carefully stepped toward the farmhouse, mindful of her massive size. She leaned down and peeked through her mother’s bedroom window.

"Mom! Wake up!" she called.

Vanilla stirred, groggily opening her eyes. When she saw an enormous eye staring at her from the window, she nearly screamed.

"What in the—?!" she shot up, throwing on her hooded bathrobe before rushing to the window. Opening it, she gawked at her now-giant daughter.

"Mina?! What on earth happened to you?!"

"Uhh… I don’t know! It just… happened! I think it was that weird hair dryer I borrowed from your room," Mina said nervously.

Behind Vanilla, Ulrich groggily sat up. "Hey, Luv, what’s going on?"

Vanilla turned to him with a sharp glare. "Zip it, Ulrich. Do not peek out the window!"

Ulrich blinked, confused. "Crikey!… Alright, luv" he mumbled, pulling the blanket over his head.

Vanilla sighed and turned back to Mina. "Look, baby, don’t panic. If this is what I think it is, the effects should be temporary. Just stay calm, and most importantly—cover yourself."

Mina sighed in relief. "Okay, Mom… Thanks."

Vanilla gave her a reassuring smile before closing the window and drawing the curtains. Then, she turned to Ulrich with a serious expression.

"I told you the growth date idea was a bad one while my baby was here!"

Ulrich chuckled nervously. "Sorry about that, sweetie," he said before she kissed his cheek. "But… I did enjoy it." He smirked.

Vanilla rolled her eyes but playfully winked at him.

Meanwhile, outside, Mina tried to process what had happened. She glanced at the chicken coop—now looking tiny in comparison—and remembered how she had felt the farmhouse shake the night before.

"So that wasn’t a dream… That was Mom and Ulrich’s ‘date’…" she realized, blushing.

Now, stuck at forty feet tall, Mina had to figure out what to do next. She wrapped herself in a large sheet from the laundry line and sighed.

"Well… This is gonna be an interesting morning."
