The Very First Sonic Underground Fanfic (We Think)
Added 2025-05-10 02:20:23 +0000 UTCWhen Sonic Underground first aired in the UK, Sonic on the internet was all about Archie/ABC Sonic, and people's fanfics based on it. The place was heaving with them. So when a third cartoon was about to air, and for all we knew it was going to be a smash hit like Satam had been, well Dave wanted to be able to say he was the first to kick off the new wave of Sonic fandom, by posting Underground's first fanfic, on the same day it first aired.*
During the recording of STCTP #154, Chris read out that fanfic, and Dave hadn't read it since the day it was posted, 26 years ago and couldn't remember a single thing about it, so it was new to both of us. So here it is, the first Sonic Underground fanfic (maybe).
*Its first English airing was in the UK. France saw it before us though.
