Year in Review + Patron Bonus Changes

Hi there,

First off, how are ya!? How was your holiday? I hope it was great and you got lots of good food and treats!

My holiday weekend was pretty great, long and busy, but great. I had a lot of awesome gifts given to me, (I got a cast iron Dutch oven!) I ate tons and somehow managed to stay good on my diet and didn’t gain a pound. So that’s a plus!

I wanted to reach out to you guys and pick your brains, I’m thinking about making some changes around here. Not really to my current stuff, that will all be staying. But I am thinking of making polls and Patreon exclusive art a primary point to this page again.

I had tried this method when Patreon first launched, and it didn’t work very well for me, but now that it’s been steady and I have a very consistent amount of support (thank you for that!) I think I can bring it back. Is that something you all would be interested in? Would you want to keep it Patreon only, or should I post publicly as well? Let me know what you’re thinking please! I’d love to approach this in a way that’s appealing to evwryone.

That being said, I am going to continue to upload my small and large files, but will likely stop the PSD support (it’s just too harsh on my poor computer to upload such large files all at once), I haven’t done it in a few months anyways and I don’t think anyone actually used them anyways...

I will however change how I upload WIPs, I will continue to do so but I am thinking of doing it on a per image post. For example, once the image is completed you’ll see all the WIPs uploaded WITH the completed image, instead of each wip spread across multiple posts over multiple weeks.

I am also thinking to cut back on “spam” I will limit my HD/websize upload posts to once or twice per month, instead of weekly or randomly. These will likely go up around the 5th of the month and again at the end of the month to cover about 2 weeks of work per post.

Then the WIP posts can be more visible, have more focus, and will be easier to find.

I am also changing my tag system to make things more accessible.

These are just some ideas, I am still working everything out, expect to see these things and an official post in January!
