Yes "Trading Spouses" and "Wife Swap" had the same premise. Used to watch them now and then, years ago. It got a bit too hokey (families which were also performers; episodes that seemed producer-manipulated) toward the end. Not sure if they are still on air. One show had a scandal in which a family claimed their son was adrift in a hot air balloon or some such...and it was a hoax. That seemed to damage those shows' reputations with the public.
