George C. Scott who played General George Patton in “Patton” is considered one of the best biopic performances. He won an academy award for his portrayal in 1970.

Pretty sad, the only one I've seen on this list was Lincoln. Though Daniel Day-Lewis absolutely nailed the portrayal, it's jaw dropping good how close he resembles the famous president! For some reason not enough biopics have come across my radar but a few of these looked rather interesting and I'll have to check them out at some point. I would've added Joaquin Phoenix in Walk the Line personally as I love that film and his singing is spot on. Reese Witherspoon too. Thanks Soph for the video and I'll take your advice and watch more Eddie Redmayne movies as I haven't seen a ton with him. Maybe in the future you could make some movie lists yourself, I'd be fascinated to see the variety of cinema that draws you in!
