Lord of the Rings is definitely worth your time. Fantasy may not be for everyone but the story, Tolkien's mythology, the scope, the acting, the characters, the music, the cinematography ect... are all absolutely brilliant. There's a reason it won so many academy awards and I think the trilogy is absolutely a must see at some point. I'd support Sophie's reaction to it in a heartbeat but I am a bit biased as it's my favorite movie. π
