2024-10-28 12:38:52 +0000 UTCSo I could totally be misinterpreting this, chat correct me if I'm wrong, but when Steve is in the lady's bedroom, what's weird is the heat signature on the camera is initially BRIGHT red where she saw Carl. When Steve gets up on the bed to investigate, the camera seems to glitch and the temperature signature changes to a normal blue tone for cool temps like a water leak, and you see Steve's head. I think the ghost WAS there, Steve just couldn't see him, and the ghost left when Steve got on the bed.

2024-10-26 18:07:08 +0000 UTCThis show is AMAZING Hannah, it uses tension to be very scary but has a gripping story behind the horror. I think Ash would love this series too if he hasn't seen it yet. Make sure to compare the "horror" to mental health, trauma and grief; you will see those themes reflected alot in this show and in each kiddo. The kids are in order of age are Steve -> Shirley -> Theo -> Luke/Nell

This was such a great surprise. I can’t wait for the rest of the season. The haunting of Bly Manor is a completely different story, but has almost all of the same actors in different roles and has a lot of little connections to hill house. to get the most out of it it’s best to watch them back to back but not required. You’re the best Hannah! You made my week!

2024-10-17 15:00:07 +0000 UTCI've been in recovery for addiction and alcoholism for about 18 years. Everyone is pretty much correct on the "chip" description. Upon deciding to get clean from any substance, you may go to rehab or may not. You can go to AA or NA either way. In Alcoholics Anonymous, you recieve a chip for milestones. First day, 30, 60, 90, 6 months and then yearly. The first 5 are usually plastic poker chips, the year chip is a medallion. In Narcotics Anonymous, you recieve keychains of various colors to mark each of these milestones. It is a reminder of all the challenges you have overcome, a motivation to continue and it gives you a sense of great accomplishment. The more chips (days) you get.....the harder you'll fight to not start over, in my experience. However, you can always return for a first day chip and start over at anytime. Luke's story is very difficult for me to watch because I can relate. Just thought I would elaborate incase someone needed to know. Thanks for the reaction Hannah! Love ya girl! ❤️

I don't want this to come out the wrong way but I will say to maybe not speak over the dialogue because a lot might get missed, although I do like hearing your thoughts I just don't want you to miss anything :). Saying that though this show is great on a rewatch to catch little things you miss the first time :)

2024-10-17 02:34:39 +0000 UTCAlso the “statues” are more than what they seem. You caught on to that. Most are ghosts!! Mike Flanagan hides ghosts in the backgrounds of scenes in many of his shows. Next episode try and see if you can spot any. There was one standing in the hallway when the dad went to check on Nell in the beginning for example.

When people go to rehab and are successfully sober for 90 days, they get a little “chip” (it almost looks like a coin/poker chip. But it’s essentially a mile marker to mark their success in being sober for 90 days. I am so excited for the rest of the series!!
