Hey everybody. I've taken a few days off of work over the last few weeks trying to get caught up on my game development. I've been moderately successful as I've jumped from 1,450 postworked renders three weeks ago to 1779 now. I really do want to increase the pace of development, and without having to take time off of my job. I have a few small things I am working on that I hope will help with that but I'll talk about them in another post.

I want to get the first part of the episode completely finished and polished as I head into the final rewrite of the end of the episode, and I'm almost done with that. It's just easier to see where I'm going when I know exactly where I've been.

I do feel like this episode has been a struggle to navigate. There are so many emotional notes I'm trying to hit and branching plot elements to keep track of that it's difficult to make sure that everything is consistent with past choices and future branches and that all of the characters' actions are properly motivated.

But as I've been tidying up the content I've got so far and adding music, I really feel like it's turning out to be a pretty strong episode. Without question, a lot of people are going to be mad at me for multiple reasons after Episode Four. But there's stuff I've been setting up for a long time for which there is some pretty strong payoff, and this episode has some of my favorite scenes in the game.

We will be well-past the halfway point of the story by the end of Episode Four. Episode Five will be fairly short, Episode Six will be long but will consist mostly of an extended flashback, and Episode Seven will be very short. Episode Eight will have a lot of content but will feature heavy branching, including some epilogue padding. I've been working on this game for about 29 months, and I'd really like to finish it in the next 18 months. Do you think God answers prayers from developers of porn games?
