Purged from Eka's Portal for talking about COVID

It was a slow beginning of the year as usual, but I'm hoping to have more things to show soon from Blender projects I've recently been working on. More previews and still renders from new animations should be coming out next month. For the rest of January I'm hoping I can find enough time to recover from recent events.

A few days ago I was hit with a shocking decision by the admin of Aryion (Eka's Portal) to permanently ban me from the platform with no warning. The ban came from a political rant journal, in which my only crime was to speak ill of COVID and use the word "imaginary" in an attempt to address the hysteria generated by this pandemic. All attempts to remedy the situation with Eka and explain my position were futile, I'm seen as the devil himself for making a random statement I didn't even imagine anyone would notice or give the slightest damn about.

Eka's Portal wasn't just a community I've been with for roughly 10 years (a third of my life), but also a place where I used to share all of my works. This includes a forum thread where I'd normally discuss Vore Tournament when there was a significant update, as well as announce other side projects in game development and such. Congratulations society for the state in which you managed to bring everyone on the planet, turn everybody against themselves, and tare every group and community apart by seeding fear hate and doubt into the minds of people: I wonder how far the fire needs to extent until more people start being affected and realize "it's not just everyone we hate that has to suffer from our behaviors".

I now face doubts about how worth it even my works are, if anyone truly enjoys them and cares to see new things from me, or where and for how long I'll even be able to keep posting them in the first place: It's so hard to produce any render or even animation that actually looks good and has detail in it... just to post it once then have it be forgotten a few weeks later as all one-time works are. On top of that, as the world grows increasingly radicalized and intolerant, I have to keep track of any obscure rule and sensitivity on any website or group I publish even my creations to, fearing anything I post gets me a step closer to being banned from the next community for committing some hidden act of heresy. It's all grueling to say the least... the mental equivalent of carrying boulders up a hill, or trying to carry more than you managed to that day. While I don't want to sound discouraging, it's hard not to talk about it either and just try to keep going... part of me wants to keep going but part of me also wants to be done as it's becoming so much. For now works will continue, but please understand if things may be slower.
