Vore Tournament - February 2018 development update

Thanks to the support I've recently gotten back on Patreon, I felt motivated to start working on Vore Tournament again. Things were a little dusty as several changes broke several things while I was away, but I got everything back on track with some help from the Xonotic crew. During the last few days I managed to fix the other half of the bug list, leaving only a few things left to do! Here is what changed this month:

If things keep going well, I should be able to release version 2.0.1 this spring. There's still a few things left to improve, and I wish to make sure I haven't missed anything first. If you want to help and have the Git version working, feel free to do a "./all update" in Xonotic and "git pull" in data_voretournament then recompile and play a few local matches! And as always, remember I still need your support badly... please contribute any amount if you're happy with my work and feel that you can.

Yes: You need special parameters to point the engine to the correct data directory, else it will only launch vanilla Xonotic and not Vore Tournament. The next VT release (2.0.1) will include a shortcut which Windows users confirmed should work. The release is currently being delayed until Xonotic 0.8.3, I don't know precisely when the Xon team will decide to launch that. https://gitlab.com/voretournament/data_voretournament/raw/master/voretournament-windows.cmd?inline=false This link should download the shortcut in cause, which is now included in the development version. Place this file in the data_voretournament directory (after downloading, renaming, and placing it in the Xonotic dir) then click it. Unless I'm missing something, this should work for version 2.0.0 as well and it might launch successfully. Let me know if that works for you.

You need to download Xonotic from http://xonotic.org It's free and available for the PC (Windows & Linux) as well as Mac. The mod itself only needs to be extracted in its folder, then the binary launched with the proper parameters to load it.

there is a binary for windows ? and some discord to play online with someone ?
