Still alive!
Added 2016-02-11 21:59:27 +0000 UTCAlthough I've made posts like this in the past, I feel obligated to do so again. This is a friendly reminder that I am not dead, nor have I abandoned Patreon: I'm still here and working on new things to post! Just... very slowly. I know I've barely done anything during the last months, and some might be worried because of this.
There is a combination of factors involved: One is that I've been slightly busier since last autumn, when I've signed up for what I guess could be called my first attempt at a job... something that helps, but far from keeps me alive by itself. At the same time, my energy and motivation to do anything have been steadily decreasing while depression has been getting worse... so my general mood is at an all-time low, and even mundane activities are oddly difficult much of the time. Meanwhile my desired standards in games and animations have been increasing, meaning I want the content I produce to be even better than what I did in the past... and that means more work for something that was already a lengthy process.
Since I tend to start more things than I finish, I currently have a load of unfinished projects lying around my hard drive, occasionally working a bit on each one. There will be some sort of new animation in the upcoming months, and until then I plan to post a few previews of what I've been doing (for Patrons in the preview tier). Long term, there are a lot of interesting projects I have planned, but they depend on how things go during the next years.
