Basically Apple is big n' greedy, and come November they'll be taking a 30% fee from all membership purchases made on the app store, essentially just taking money away from us creators just cause they can.
Patreon doesn't have a say, so their solution to help creators not get robbed, is to mark up prices for iOS purchases, to cancel out the money creators would lose.
But even then it's just you the Patrons getting robbed by having to pay extra to fill Apple's pockets.
