Worked for a large national company for twenty five years. As soon as I trained a promising employee to handle the job, they'd let them go. In a lot of cases, other companies would snap them right up. They ended up doing a great job for the competition. Big busines is so damned dumb some times. Stupidity reigns in a lot of stodgy old companies. Sorry you got caught upin that.
